The attitude with which we approach things makes a big difference. Can I see what’s happening right now as an opportunity?
Recently, a car coming from a side street on the left honked at me. I was annoyed for a second – long enough to stop and get out.
Then I remembered my intention for the day: to go with the flow of my feelings and handle these energies mindfully.
When I then politely asked him about the reason for the honking, the annoyed driver replied, “Here, right has the right of way!” When I asked him where “right” was for him today, he paused for a moment. Then we both had a good laugh.
Mindful engagement with e-Motion – energy in motion – can shift our perspective. It can offer new opportunities. How is it possible to change the small things that have a big impact? To stay positive on the go? – A first step might be to pause for a moment.
