Do not try! - March 21, 2024
Imagine you ask a restaurant to prepare the party for your milestone birthday with fine food, good music and a pleasant atmosphere. You would probably be surprised if the restaurateur replied to your request: "We'll try."
Let's be honest: success is hard to guarantee. But in trying there is doubt about success.
So why not "do" right away - instead of just "trying"? Yoda says: "Do or do not. There is no try."
"I'll try" is a 'cheating sentence' with hidden doubt. It is often used because it is unclear how we can deal constructively with a possible failure and how we can turn it into a success.

The secret of attitude ... - March 7, 2024
Recently, a client told me how important the secret of attitude is to him. He had a crucial appointment with the management of a prospect and was quite tense. It was about getting the order for a large, long-planned project. Both the customer and the project are close to his heart. He thought about it and resorted to an exercise on attitude from the module BEING A LEADER, changed his attitude and had a fabulously good conversation.
Tip: The first step is to become aware of your own current attitude. What attitude are you taking right now, at this moment? This in relation to the topic and to the people you are currently dealing with – and also in relation to yourself?
My customer was very enthusiastic about telling me that he had won the contract for his company and that the project had already started in good cooperation. He says that this success alone was worth attending the BEING A LEADER module.
